By train:

Cambridge is less than an hour away from London by train with frequent departures from King's Cross and Liverpool Street stations. The University maintains a schedule of Cambridge to London railway timetables. Further timetable information is available from National Rail. Taxis are available for hire at Cambridge Station, which is approximately 1 mile from the city centre. The station is marked on the Regional Roads Map. The walk from the station to the Sidgwick Site takes about 40 minutes.

By coach:

The central drop-off point for bus services is at the city bus station on Drummer Street (indicated on the Regional Roads Map) or Parkside.  Further information about bus routes and timetables is available from the University website or the Council website. You can also find information at National Express.

By car:

Information about the main routes into Cambridge is available from the University Map. For the most direct route to the Alison Richard Building, exit at Junction 12 of the M11 and follow the A603 (Barton Road) and then the A1134 (Trumpington Road) to West Road. Please note that during office hours (9am-5pm Monday to Friday) parking is not permitted on the Sidgwick Site, except by permit holders. At weekends, parking is freely available on the Sidgwick Site (entrance off Sidgwick Avenue). There is also pay-and-display parking on some of the streets around Sidgwick Site for up to 4 hours (Sidgwick Avenue, Queen's Road, West Road).
